This is Kevin’s 14th ride on a tandem in aid of a good cause, and this year’s trek takes Kevin and Jason to Israel and Jordan for five days of cycling.
The tandem ride will involve covering distances of between 80-100km per day in temperatures reaching 35°c. It won’t be an easy cycling experience either.
Travelling through the Arava into Jordan, there will be steep ascents to climb and travels across rocky terrain. The five-day tandem ride will also take them through the awe-inspiring ancient city of Petra.
It’s important to note that this trip has been funded by Kevin himself, and all money raised through sponsorship will go to the Norwood Charity.
Operating in London and the South-East, the Norwood Charity supports children and adults with learning disabilities, helping them to realise and achieve their true potential. Founded in 1795, Norwood is one of the UK’s oldest charities, and is still changing lives for the better today.
